The Japanese Electric Heater Company established a factory in Taiwan in 1965. This factory produced mainly electric heaters for industrial applications. The factory was formally named the Sino-Japan Electric Heater Co., Ltd. after receiving investment from the Lidye Group in 1968, and its production shifted to electric heaters used in consumer products such as household appliances marketed in Japan and Taiwan. The Sino-Japan Electric Heater Co., Ltd. has begun to receive large orders from the US General Electric Company (GE) since 1972, and expanded product marketing to the United States and the whole world. 

The company gradually established offices and business locations worldwide, and shifted production lines to China and America. The number of employees all over the globe is close to 2,000, setting the company as one of the biggest manufacturers in the world in terms of electric heaters production volume.

The Electric Heating Business Unit has gradually established business locations and offices in order to tap global markets, move closer to customers, and acquire a better understanding of local demand of electric heating products and technologies. Established in 1974, the US business office S.J.H. (USA) was followed by the Hong Kong business offices S.J.E.H. and S.J.H.I. during 1990-1992, and the Japanese business office S.J.H. (Japan) in 1994. Malaysia sales office was established in 2018, along with sales offices established in Shanghai, Xiamen, and Shenzhen. These offices provide speedy service helping local customers meet their expectations and also offer outstanding after-sales service.
